CHL: 31 hold klar til Champions Hockey League

Rungsted kvalificerede sig med mesterskabet i fredags til den kommende sæsons Champions Hockey League. En stor udfordring for Rungsted – både sportsligt og organisatorisk.

31 klubber har foreløbig kvalificeret sig og venter på vinderen af den finske Liiga-finale. Det ene hold, Kärpät Oulu – der traditionelt satser hårdt på CHL – er allerede kvalificeret til Europa, mens det andet finalehold, HPK fra Hämmenlinna, kommer ud i Europa, hvis klubben vinder finaleserien. 

Hvis Kärpät vinder, bliver det TPS Turku, der skal spille med i CHL. 

Lodtrækningen finder sted 22. maj i forbindelse med VM i Slovakiet, og Rungsted vil med 99 procents sikkerhed blive seedet i det nederste af fire lag.
